# Change Password

> Update your account password to keep your Verbex workspace secure

The Change Password section allows you to update your account password to maintain security and protect access to your Verbex workspace. You can replace your existing password with a stronger one to help prevent unauthorized access.

## Changing Your Password

Navigate to the Change Password section and complete the following fields:

* **Current password:** Enter the password currently used to access your Verbex account.
* **New password:** Enter a new, strong password that meets the platform's password requirements.
* **Confirm new password:** Re-enter the new password to ensure both entries match.

All three fields are mandatory and are marked with a red asterisk (\*).

## Password Strength Indicator

The **Strength** indicator appears below the New password field and provides feedback on the strength of the password as it is entered. Use this indicator to help create a stronger and more secure password.

Each password field also includes an eye icon, allowing you to show or hide the entered password for verification.

## Updating Your Password

After completing all the required fields, click **Update password** to submit the password change.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Once the password is successfully updated, the system signs you out of all devices and redirects you to the sign-in page. Sign in again using your new password to access the Verbex platform.

## Password Security Recommendations

To maintain account security, follow these practices:

* **Create a strong password:** Use a unique password or passphrase that is difficult to guess.
* **Avoid password reuse:** Do not use the same password across multiple platforms or services.
* **Update passwords when necessary:** Change your password if you suspect unauthorized access or your credentials have been compromised.
* **Sign in again:** After changing your password, use the updated credentials to access your account on all devices.
